Paul Edward Key, of Pearl River, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the age of 75. He was a native, of Dumas, Arkansas, born on January 4, 1947. Paul is the beloved husband of 53 years to Maria Garcia Key; cherished father of Nicholas Key (Linda); proud grandfather of Paul Nicolas Key; and caring uncle of Betty Jo Collins, Truitt Key, and Dusty Smith. He is also survived by one brother, John Key (Beverly); his late cousin's children, Christina and Gina Godfrey, whom he loved dearly; and a host of extended family members and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his loving parents, N. B. Key and Eloise Barnes Key; a sister Rebecka Key; one brother, Nathan Key; and a niece, Misty Bridges.

Paul graduated with the Class of 1965 from Crossett High School in Crossett, Arkansas. He bravely served in the United States Air Force, where he earned numerous recognitions such as the National Defense Service Medal, Outstanding Unit Award, and the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon. He had a career as an aircraft inspector and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

While Paul will be remembered as being cantankerous and ornery at times, he will fondly be remembered as having a big heart. He was always there when anyone needed him and would help anyone in need. Paul will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Paul would say, "See you later, Bye."
