N. B. Key, 79, of Crossett died Tuesday, April 9, 2002, at his home. Born December 29, 1922, to Napoleon Bonaparte and Mattie Key in Whelen Springs, Ark., he was an U. S. Army veteran of World War II and a Baptist. A retired boiler room maintenance worker for Georgia-Pacific, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise, and a son, Nathan Key.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Key of Lake Charles, LA, and John Key of Crossett; one daughter, Rebecca Myers of Hot Springs; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
funeral services were at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 11, in the Jones Funeral Home chapel in Crossett with Bro. Bob Lonadier officiating. Pallbearers were Lee Sullivan, Allen Trichell, Edgar Haney, Tommy Knight, Morgan Outlaw and Harold Pennington. Burial followed services at the Tyro Cemetery.
