Charles Edward Maree (1945–1945)
Janice loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and loved to share her testimony with everyone. She was a faithful member of Unionville Baptist Church, loved her church family and the special ladies in her Sunday school class.
Janice worked many years at Mills Cleaners, retiring in 2009. She made so many friends while working at the cleaners. She never met a stranger.
The family will host a memorial service to celebrate her life at 2 PM, Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Unionville Baptist Church, 510 Baucom Rd., Monroe, NC. The family will receive friends before the service from 1-2 PM in the church sanctuary. Burial will be private at Anson Memorial Park in Wadesboro, NC.
Those left to cherish her memory include her:
Daughter, Gwen Lassiter Foard (Mitch)
Son, Don Lassiter
Grandchildren:
Brittany Barbee (Andrew), Dustin Lassiter (Skyler), Leann Smith (Jake)
Great-grandchildren:
Kaleigh, Dalton, Ava Barbee and Granger Smith;
She also leaves behind her beloved dog Bubba.
Janice cherished the moments she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They always brought a smile to her face.
