Joann Barnes Hardy 68 departed this life on Wednesday October 26,2022. She passed away while in the amazing and compassionate care of Rainbow Ark Hospice facility in Park Ridge, Illinois.
Joann was preceded in death by her mother Josephine Barnes, her father Billy Barnes, her sisters Sandra and Brenda Barnes and her brother Edgar Barnes. Joann will always be cherished by her husband of 25 years, Alonzo Hardy. She was the proud and blessed mother to 9 children to who she loved dearly, Chariea, Trista, Udona, Carla, Nathan, Adam, Johnathan, Jordan and Leah.
Left to cherish her memory are her siblings Rosaline, Paul, Patricia, Doug, Barbara and Timothy, along with 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Joann will be dearly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Joann was a classy lady who loved to dress up and dance in the company and friends and family. She was also a talented self-taught artist. She lived a life of gratitude and cherished each blessed day she was given.
The life celebration of this beautiful woman will be on November 2, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Bradshaw and Range funeral home. 2513 Dugdale road, Waukegan, Illinois 60085. Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, 1436 Kenosha Road, Zion Illinois. Repast to follow.
