Sue Rimmer Holbert Mabe, age 84 of Chariot Lane in Iron Station passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022.
Mrs. Mabe was born February 6, 1938 in Dandridge, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Clyde Rimmer and Una Johnson Rimmer. She was also preceded in death by her husband Miles G. Mabe, Jr., daughter, Susan Hubbs and brother Jerry Rimmer. She worked as a retail clerk.
Her funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at First Baptist Church Lincolnton. Service will be officiated by Dr. Stanley Spence. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will take place in Amity Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by: daughters, Cathy Ballard and husband Rodney of Iron Station and Kelly Loughner of Dandridge TN; son, Brent Mabe and wife Ladeana of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, David " Sandy" Rimmer and wife Wanda of Brandon, FL and Donald Rimmer and wife Faye of Dandridge, TN; grandchildren, Somer Fortenberry (Craig), Casey Bridges (Samuel), Brittany Wray (Buddy), Mallory Barrett (Brian), Jacob Ballard (Christen) and Isabella Mabe; great grandchildren, Noah Carter, Joshua Carter, Cooper Bridges, Jalyn Wray, Skyler Barrett, Calliope Barrett, Allie Kate Fortenberry, Makenzie Barrett, Ansley Bridges, Jazmin, Sebastian, and Alina.
