Nina M Eggett passed away July 11, 1996, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law. She was 86 years old.

Born in Bluffdale, Utah on May 28, 1910 to James Robinson and Alice Kendrick Parry. Married Charles E. Platt on April 27, 1931, later divorced. He died on June 13, 1958, Married John T. Eggett on August 28, 1959. He passed away on January 27, 1977.

She enjoyed reading, raising flowers and doing things with her family and friends. She was affectionately known as the "Cookie Lady."
As an active member of the LDS Church, she served in the Primary and Relief Society, and was a temple worker for several years.

Survived by son, James W. (Darlene) Platt, Riverton; daughter, Carol (Jim) Birrell, Sandy; daughter Gayle (Max) Osborn, Sandy; daughter Norma (Bill) Cummins, Scottsdale, Arizona; daughter-in-law, Alta (Joe) Russell, Mesa, Ariz; dauther, Lynette (Von) Gardiner, South Jordan; 27 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives and many friends. Also survived by her Eggett step children, grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son Norman G Platt, two granddaughters, two great-granddaughters and one great-great granddaughter.

Funeral services Monday July 15, 1996 at 1 pm ath the Bluffdale 2nd Ward Chappel.

Interment Bluffdale City Cemetery.
