Manuel Morales departed this earthly life at home Saturday January 20, 2024 at the age of 88 years 10 months and 12 days.
Manuel had a love of gardening. Growing enough fruits and vegetables to share with his neighbors. His love for all things Elvis Presley is well known.
The walls and shelves of his home were filled with photos of his family and Elvis.
Back when he was able, his brother Sam and sister Genny would entertain the Sherman nursing home with their karaoke machine and laughter.
Manuel was outgoing and charismatic, fun loving to a fault. He had a nickname for just about everyone. He will be missed.
Manuel was preceded in death by his parents Cecilio Olivares and Francisca (Alvarado) Morales. Brothers Daniel, Samuel, and Cecil Morales Jr. Sisters Rachel Aguilar, Phebe Quick, Esther Cervantes, and Helen Slaughter. Grandson Timothy Morales.
Those he left behind to mourn his passing are; sisters Frances Carolan Tulsa Ok, Genoveva Cunningham (Tom) Anna TX, and Juanita Carr Sherman TX.
His children from his first marriage daughter Debbora Rider (Tracy), son James Morales (Tara).
Grandchildren Angel (Cleveland), Autumn (Caleb), Travis (Becky); Micheal (Elisha), Christopher, Mat (Sarah), Sarah (Brandon), Samantha.
Many great and great-great grandchildren. Nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other family and friends.
As well as Manuel's daughter by his second marriage Angie (Darwin) grandsons Presley, Hunter. and Christian.
