Miss Fannie Nichols, Who has been ill at this place since last June, passed away at her home on first avenue on thursday night of last week, after a lingering illness of some seven months duration. Her trouble first arose from a case of ivy poisoning which seems to have devloped into a complication of stomach trouble from which she could gain no permanent relief. Deseased was seventeen years old; the only girl of a family of five children, leaving a father, J.A. Nichols, and four brothers: Frank, George, Forrest, and N. Nichols, to moarn their loss. A short funeral service was held at the home friday afternoon by the Rev. John Cox and the body was laid to rest in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
