Mary Ella "Jane" Epperley, age 101 of Dublin passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center, Dublin.
Born October 19, 1921, in Talcott, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Davis Woodrum & Myrtle Marie Churchfield Woodrum.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Major Hensel Epperley, granddaughter, Ida Denise Handy, brothers, Pete (Peggy) Woodrum, Leo (Lilly) Woodrum, Leonard "Hickory" Woodrum, Robin "Woody" Woodrum, John (Tean) Woodrum, sisters, Carol Kirby (Harrison) and Bunny (Sterley) Clayton.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Ella "Jane" (Bill) Handy, Dublin; grandchildren, Sarah (Barry) Foutz, Pulaski, Phillip (Michelle) Long, Dublin; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren; sister, Reba Emerson, Wisconsin; and sister-in-law, Katherine (Burman) Morris, Dublin.
Funeral services will be held from 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 evening at the Funeral Home. Bower Funeral Homes, Pulaski is handling the arrangements for the family.
