James A. Camp, 62, of Princeville died, Monday, November 29, in his home.
He was born in Monica, July 8, 1909, a son of Perry an Ada Berry Camp. He married Maurine Rice in 1933. He married Wanda Merrill Carlson in Chillicothe December 22, 1947. She survives.
Also surviving are a son, Steven of Trivoli, a daughter, Mrs. Milo (Joan) Bitner of Monica, a stepson, Donald Carlson of St. Paul, Minn., two sisters, Mrs. William (Frances) Hoag and Mrs. Effie Schelkopf, of Monica; five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Three brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Monica Methodist Church, to which memorial contributions may be made.
Mr. Camp had lived in before moving to Princeville about 15 years ago. He operated the Princeville Tap until he retired in July 1970.
Burial was in Swan Lake Memoria Gardens, Peoria.
