Mrs. Mary E. DeBord of Monica, 69, passed away Thursday morning, November 23, 1967 in the Methodist Hospital in Peoria, where she had been a patient for two weeks. She had resided in the Monica area all of her life.
She was born in Monica, a daughter of Perry O. and Ada Berry Camp April 8, 1898. She married Ray DeBord December 25, 1918. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Monica Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lyle (Louise) Ingle of Princeville and Mrs. Richard (Amy) Knowles of Wyoming; two sons, Henry and James of Monica; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, William Camp of Monica and James Camp of Princeville; and two sisters, Mrs. Effie Schelkopf and Frances Hoag of Monica.
Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held in the Bouton Memorial Home Saturday afternoon with Rev. Richard Huckins of the Monica Methodist Church in charge.
Burial was in the Princeville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Howard Yess, Anton Kraft, Ray Belford, Joseph Leaverton, Orville Smith and Hershal Martin.
