Ann F. Sports, age 85, entered into rest on October 15, 2022.

Ann was born on March 26, 1937 in Walhalla, SC to the late Otis and Bernice Finley. She worked as a real estate agent for Meybohm, as an executive secretary for Bowen Brothers and for Jones & Fellows, and later as a secretary at the University of South Carolina, Aiken. She was also the owner and operator of Southern Elegance Weddings.

She enjoyed interior decorating and restoring antique furniture, mirrors, and picture frames. She loved cruising in the Caribbean and hosting pool parties. Ann wrote stories and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was a member of Big Stevens Creek Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of sixty-three years, Joseph Sports; a son, Roman Sports; two daughters, Patti Weeks (Eddie) and Carla Fincher; two brothers, Howard and Arland Finley; grandchildren Hollie Mendricks, Hope Renew, Corey Weeks, Dylan Fincher, Megan Fincher, and Justin Sports; and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Rowland-Ford Funeral Home on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Garvin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home an hour prior to the service. Interment in Pineview Memorial Gardens will follow. Pallbearers will be: Eddie Weeks, Dylan Fincher, Troy Moore, Taylor Moore, Daniel Robinson, and John Finley.
