Timothy Pope, the 2nd oldest son of the late Noel and Judy Pope was born December 23, 1917 in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma.
He was converted at an early age and united with the Middle San-Bois Methodist Church, Pittsburg, Oklahoma.
Mr. Pope united in Holy Matrimony to Florene Lewis April 13, 1939. They have been outstanding residents of the St. Louis County since June, 1940.
He united with Parks Chapel AME Church, Webster Groves, November, 1974 under the pastorate of Reverend O.H. Brown while hospitalized at the St. Louis County Hospital.
He became suddenly ill at his home Monday, February 24th and was taken to the St. Louis County Hospital where he passed on Tuesday, February 25th at 9:30 a.m. He leaves to mourn his loss a devoted and faithful wife, 4 brothers, 4 sisters, 3 brother-in-laws, 1 sister-in-law, several nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
