Patricia L. Harshman, 86, of Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Beehive Homes of Lafayette. She was born July 18, 1936 in Lafayette to the late George and Mary P. (Nicholson) White. Patty was a 1954 graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. Her marriage was to Claude E. Harshman on November 2, 1956. Claude preceded her in death on March 27, 2004.
Patty was a 50-year member of Order of the Eastern Star, Hope Chapter. Patty owned and operated Cardinal Printers with her husband for 9 years in Lafayette. She worked 8 years for Marsh Supermarket of West Lafayette and 5 years at Lafayette Senior Center.
In her spare time, Patty loved watching old movies, reading, and crocheting. She cherished time spent with her family around the dinner table on Sundays.
Patty is survived by her children, Nancy (husband: Jack) Donoho of West Lafayette, Patrick (wife: Joyce) Harshman of West Lafayette, and Steven (wife: Donna) Harshman of Battle Ground. Grandchildren, Stacy (husband: Everett) Tilton, Jessica Harshman, Joshua Harshman, Mary (husband: Jacob) Clark, Robert (wife: Tera) Johnson, and Sheila (husband: Mick) Leming. Patty is also survived by two siblings, Kate Webster and Carl (Diane) Spalding.
Preceding her in death along with her husband and parents are a daughter, Susan E. Dawson; siblings, Barb Simms, Joan Killian, Mary Terry, Virginia Dunbar, and James Spalding.
