Daughter of William 'Bill' Raleigh Forester and Martha Jane 'Jennie' (Teague) Forester.
Married Lloyd 'Myron' Custer in 1939.

Mrs. Nola (Forester) Custer, 90, of Flint, MI and formerly of Oregon County, MO, died Jan. 16, 2002 at Fenton Extended Care Center, Fenton, MI. She was born Jan. 23, 1912 in Oregon County, MO, the daughter of William and Jenny Teague Forester.
Mrs. Custer earned a bachelor's degree in education from Springfield college. She taught a number of years in rural schools in Oregon County and taught in Koshkonong. She retired from elementery school teaching in Flint, MI in 1955.
Mrs. Custer was a 50 year member of Eastern Star of Alton and a member of Woodside Church for 47 years. She was a major supporter of East Village Magazine, and was active in neighborhood activities for 50 years as a resident of Park neghborhood.
Survivors include two sons, Gary and good friend, Kara; and Edwin and wife, Casey; and two grandsons Nicholas and Andy Custer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Myron Custer; and nine brothers and sisters, Everett, Eva, Paris, Ralph, Ernest. Waymon, Joseph L. "Babe", Clarence, and Elihue.
Funeral services were Sept. 20, 2002 at Brown Funeral Home in Flint, MI. Burial was beside her husband in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery.
