MRS VIOLA ADKINS DIES AT SIAS HOME
DEATH CLAIMS PROMINENT 72 YEAR-OLD SIAS LADY AFTER ILLNESS OF LONG DURATION

Mrs Viola Adkins, seventy-two years old, of Sias, died at her home Tuesday at 4 p.m. following an illness of four years. She was a daughter of the late Goldsbury and Mary Adkins, and had been a member of the Baptist church 46 years. The body was brought to the Johnson-Koontz funeral home in this city Tuesday evening and was returned to the home today (Wednesday).
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 A.M. at the Collins Knob church with the Rev Ebb Cummings, of Sias, the Rev Elza Adkins, of Sias, and the Rev. Kelley Hooser, of Allen, officiating. Burial will be in the Goldsbury cemetery near Sias.
Surviving are the husband, Liken Adkins; a son, Garfield Adkins; a daughter, Mrs Ida Bellomy; two brothers, Ira and Golzie Adkins; one sister, Mrs Victoria Adkins; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Grandsons of Mrs Adkins will be her pallbearers and granddaughters will be flowergirls.
