Ira Adkins, 72, of Sias, died at 8 oclock P.M. Saturday Dec 22 in a Huntington Hosp. He was a son of the late Berry and Susan Egnor Adkins and was well known.
Servicew were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec 24th in Collins Knob Church, the Rev. Ebb Cummings officiating. Burial was in the Goldsberry Cemetery.
Surviving are three sons, Lloyd, Hal and Matthias of Sias; a brother, G.B. Adkins of Sias. The body remained at the Johnson-Koontz Funeral Home in Hamlin until the funeral.
