WARREN — Gregory Albani, 58, passed away from esophageal cancer, Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2022, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 8, 1963, in Warren, the son of Eugene and Julia Albani.

Greg was a 1982 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School. He joined the Navy following high school and then had various jobs upon his return. His main source of employment was landscaping. Greg worked on many local yards and his customers were always appreciative of his fine work.

Greg was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed watching the game every week. He was funny, with a great sense of humor, and was kind and generous to those around him.

He is survived by his father, Eugene; his brothers, Gerry (Leslie), Mark and Eugene (Mary Ann) Albani; his sisters, Lisa Albani and Maryann (Scott) Jones; 14 nephews and nieces; and many grand-nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his mother, Julia.

A private family ceremony took place at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel of Warren.

Greg was laid to rest in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
