JUANITA HESTER WALLACE, 94, died Saturday, February 2, 2008 at her home in Memphis. Funeral services for Mrs. Wallace will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, February 5 at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar with Brother Ray Hatten officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Wallace was born in Henderson County on March 15, 1913, the daughter of the late Edmond and Lessie Cunningham Hester. She was a former teacher, air traffic controller and real estate agent. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Memphis and Daughters of the Nile. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred E. Wallace; and two brothers, Guy and James Bernice Hester. She is survived by her seven nieces, Pricilla McVoy of Memphis, TN, Maxie Walker of Parkers Crossroad, TN, Patty Williams (Anthony) of Clarksburg, TN, Peggy Asbill (Danny) of Lexington, TN, Pam Speitel (Bill) of Ventura, CA, Debbie Franklin (Joe) of Lexington, TN, Lisa Faith (Kent) of Tulsa, OK; and one nephew, Eddie Hester (Lisa) of Lexington, TN. She is also survived by ten great-nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church, 200 E.
