Kathleen Dora (Wines) Alexander, 84, of Front Royal, died Sunday, December 30, 2007, at her home.
A celebration of life was conducted at Maddox Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 2, at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Dr. R. Mark Jordon. Interment followed at Prospect Hill Cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Alexander was born September 26, 1923, in Warren County, daughter of the late Wade and Dora Wines. She was the wife of the late Edward W. (Mutt) Alexander, Jr.
She was a devoted housewife and mother and was employed at Haywood's East Side Market for several years.
Surviving are a son, Edward W. Alexander III, his wife Tina, two grandchildren, Amanda and Edward IV, all of Front Royal, a sister, Thelma Sealock of Chester Gap and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Jeff Grove, Ricky Lillard, Trent Nicholson, Bobby Sealock, Michael Sealock, and Stevie Sealock.
