Mr. James was born in Nebraska, Oct. 8, 1888, and was just over 48 years of age at the time of his death. In his boyhood his father died and on the re-marriage of his mother he took the name of his stepfather, York, retaining this adopted name until he reached 21. At his time he took the name of his father.
He is survived by his wife at Lakeside, and by two brothers, Clinton and William in Nebraska.
