ST. GEORGE, UT. - Jack A. Hymas passed away at home on Jan. 2, 2008, surrounded by family, friends and Max, his loving Yorkshire Terrier. Born to John Alonzo Bever and Delores Marie Parker Bever Hymas. Graduated from South High School in Salt Lake City, UT. Joined the Navy during World War II and served on the USS Mustin. He met his wife, Janet Arlene Maxwell after the war and they were married June 1, 1946. They had six children: Lynne (Bill) Silver, Karen (Dale) George, Robyn Riggs, Jack (Heather) Hymas, Debbie Cameron and Larry Hymas. Preceded in death by their son Larry and grandson Christopher. Survived by his wife Arlene, son and daughters, 25 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Peggy Walker, Jean (Ed) Smith; brother Robert (Sue) Hymas. Jack was a patient man who had a calm judgment. He worked for Ford Motor Co., Western General Dairy and Hercules Quality Control Department. His greatest achievement was founding and being president of Cedar Electric Supply. Jack's health started to fail in 2002 and has fought an uphill battle but was a great patient.
