David B. Rau, 76, Wenatchee, formerly of Chelan, died Wednesday afternoon at a local hospital.
He was born on June 15, 1899, at Turtle Lake, Wis., and came to Washington with his family in 1900. In 1902 they moved to Quincy, and Mr. Rau moved to Chelan in 1921.
He married Grace Owen-Jones on Jan. 11, 1921, at Wenatchee.
Surviving are his wife, at the home; a daughter, Barbara Wortman, Seattle; three brothers, Ed, Wenatchee, and J. G. and John, Quincy, two sisters, Kathryn Bonar and Madelyn McGinnis, Wenatchee; and seven grandchildren. A daughter, two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
