Born Dec. 5, 1920, in Lewisburg, Ohio, she was the daughter of Jonas and Emma Lock Heck. She was a member of the American Legion Post 49, a former Clinton Memorial Hospital volunteer, and served in the Women's Army Corps during World War II. She was a graduate of Union High School in Lewisburg, Ohio.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Boehmer, New Lebanon, Ohio, Donald Wells, Wilmington, Ohio, and Ronald Wells, Versailles; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Three brothers and a sister are deceased.
Graveside services were conducted Wednesday, June 15, at Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, Ohio.
