Eleanor Miller Bond, who was the second wife of Col John Bond Sr., died on 6/13/1826. After the funeral service was over at the William Bond Baptist Church, she was also buried beside Elizabeth Wallis Batson Bond. Where they were buried near the William Bond Baptist Church became known as the old "Bond burying Grounds" at Church House, Mississippi. She was the daughter of Alexander Miller and Elizabeth Barron, and the sister of Gideon Bond's wife Mary Miller.
All of the Wood Grave Markers for the first people that were buried in the old "Bond burying Grounds" have rotted away. Only their death and burial records remain.
The burying grounds referred to is the Bond-Harvison Cemetery in Stone County, Mississippi.
