Patrick Justin Agard, 63, passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2022, at his home in Cape Coral, Florida.

Patrick was born on January 14, 1959, to Richard E. and Jean S. Agard.

Patrick graduated from Bishop Scully High School, Amsterdam, NY in 1977.

He enlisted in the Navy in 1983, trained in aviation and engineering, receiving multiple commendations before leaving the Navy in 1989. Patrick was a proud veteran, supporting many veteran's causes, and speaking fondly of his time in the service and the places in the world he traveled while in the Navy and afterwards.

After leaving the Navy, Patrick lived and worked for many years in California before relocating to Florida.

Patrick received his bachelor's degree from St. Mary's College in 1995 and his master's degree from Golden Gate University in 2001. He specialized in operations, engineering, supply chain management, procurement, sales, and marketing working in a diverse range of businesses including aerospace/defense and biotechnology.

Football and fishing were lifelong passions of Patrick's that he enjoyed as often as he could. He also loved music, cars and spending time with friends.

Patrick is survived by his mother, Jean S. Agard, sisters, Maureen Amberger, Nancey Agard, Eileen Babcock (Mike) and Maryerin Agard Martin (Stephen), brothers, Michael, James, (Ashley) and John ''Jack" Agard and many nieces and nephews. Patrick is also survived by his long time love and companion, Judy Luis.

Patrick is predeceased by his father, Richard E. Agard, and his sister, Sheila K. Agard.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects and visit with family, Sunday, September 25, 2022, from 2 to 4 pm.

All are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, to be celebrated Monday, September 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 156 East Main Street, Amsterdam, NY, with Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis, E.V. officiating.

Interment with military honors will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Fort Johnson, NY.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your local VFW Post or Humane Society.
