She was a member Northshore League of Women Voters and Metropolitan Family Services of Chicago, A former board member of Locust Street Company, Evansville, Indiana, longtime supporter of Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and longtime member of Church of St. Mary, Lake Forest, Illinois. Elizabeth was married to Oren T. Pollock of Lake Forest, Illinois from 1951-1984, Charles R. Twede of Burlington, Washington from 1987-2000. She was proceeded in death by Oren Pollock, Charles Twede, sister and brother-in-law Mary K. and George Murphy, Jr., and Son Charles K. (Suzanne).
