Jules later took the first name of his son "Julius". Both Jules and Julius Leon worked as gardeners in the San Francisco Parks system. Jules originally was a gardener at Sutro Estates, then managed Buena Vista Park, and Julius Leon took over as head of Golden Gate Park from John McLaren. Jules was quite involved with the I.O.O.F. as well as his son Julius Leon to some extent.

Gravesite Details

Buried with his son and his son's wife. Members of I.O.O.F. Spaced left on Jules side on the headstone for his wife Julia; but she decided to be buried in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery with her daughters.
