Son of John Howard Owens and Rhonda Bean Owens

Jessie "Jepe" Owens moved to the William A Austin property in the mid 1830's, possibly moving here with William A Austin. He lived his life on the William Austin property. His parents also moved from Franklin county , Tenn. about the same time and after his mother died in 1847, his father moved on to Mississippi in 1848.
