Eddie Lou Bailey died on January 31, 2008 in Tuscola, Texas at the age of 83. She was born on April 7, 1924 in Howland, Texas to Edward Eugene and Verda Jane Abels Tudor. She was a homemaker and long time resident of Kingsville.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Dr. Leo Bailey, her daughter, Elisabeth Lou Bailey, her grandson, Timm Bailey, her brothers and sisters, Albert Cunningham, Thomas Tudor, Ayleen Bills, Wilma Stamper, and Doris Sandefur.
She is survived by her four children, Leo Lynn (Shirley) Bailey, Jr., Judith (Pernell) Lockwood, Nora Jane (Vic) Bishop, and Billy Tudor (Ann) Bailey, her grandchildren, Chad (Beth) Walker, Beau (Theresa) Walker, Holly Walker (David) McCauley, Erin Bailey, Brett Bailey, Drew Bailey, Kristin (Aaron) Nordell, and Heather Lockwood, her great grandchildren, Savannah Walker, Seth Walker, Kimberley Walker, Samuel Walker, Caleb Walker, Isaac Walker, Carla Smeltzer, Ryan McCauley, Ethan McCauley, Katie Wynn McCauley, and Jesse Arguijo, and her sister, Ann (Van) Scott.
Visitation was held Feb. 3 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral services were held Feb. 4 at First United Methodist Church. Burial followed at Chamberlain Cemetery, Kingsville, TX.
