Wayne Pearce, 70, of Sulphur Springs, Texas was born October 25, 1951 in Bakersfield, CA to Russell and Lorraine Pearce. He passed away April 5, 2022 in a Tyler Hospital.

A skilled tradesman, Wayne worked for many years as a phone tech for Volt Communications as well as , Manek Energy, Summitt Technologies, Plant Process Fabrication and currently American Legend Aircraft.

He was a member of Posey Baptist Church, Sulphur Springs. Family was important to him. One thing anyone who knew him will always remember is his love for being a "jokester" and loved to go and have fun, just spending time with Sallee. Wayne collected antiques and many things.

Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sandy Gammil. Survived by his wife, Sallee Pearce, son, grand children, great grandchildren and other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held April 8, 2022 at Posey Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs. Burial will follow in the Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield.

Wayne proudly served his country with the Seabees in the United States NAVY. For his service, Full Military Honors will be presented by the American Legion in Post 351 of Hughes Springs.
