HONEYVILLE— Neoma Hunsaker, 97, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 peacefully in her home. She was born on February 22, 1911 a daughter of Isaac Jr. and Margaret Baird Hunsaker. She attended Honeyville Elementary School and graduated from Box Elder High School.
Neoma married William Eldon Hunsaker on August 1, 1935 in Ogden, UT. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. He passed away August 11, 1996.
She worked for the Box Elder School District for many years.
Neoma and Bill served as missionaries at the Brigham City Tabernacle for five years and enjoyed doing temple work. She enjoys crocheting and quilting and has been an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many positions.
Surviving are her children: Myrna H. (I.J.) Melchior, of Ventura, CA; and Teryl W. (Diane) Hunsaker, of Grantsville, UT; six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City.
Friends may call on Monday, December 22, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 to 9:40 a.m. at the Mortuary. Interment will be in the Honeyville Cemetery.
