Mrs. Annie Jim Adams Ayers, age 100 of Tom's Creek Road, Martin passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at The Overlook Assisted Living.

A daughter of the late Lawrence and Maude Crawford Adams, she was born August 25, 1922 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived in Stephens and Franklin Counties all of her life. She was retired from Coats and Clark with 31 years of service. She was a member of Tom's Creek Baptist Church where she was a choir member, and served as a Sunday School Teacher and W.M.U. Director. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Ayers, brother, Cyle Adams and by three sisters, Bonnie Faye Addison, Morene Sheriff and Henrietta Segars.

Survivors include a brother, Durward Adams of Martin; brother-in-law, W.T. Segars of Toccoa; sister-in-law, Vera Mae Ayers of Thomasville, North Carolina; godson, Rev. Micah (Lynn) Lane of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 12, 2022, 2 o'clock p.m. at the Tom's Creek Baptist Church with The Reverend Wayne Marcus and The Reverend Micah Lane officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Joe Sheriff, James Earl Segars, Bruce Adams, Mark Adams, Kyle Adams, Austin Lane, Aaron Lane and Alton Addison.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday, September 11, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Tom's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Annie Jim Adams Ayers.
