MRS. HAROLD LAMORDER Mrs. Eva (Charette) (Cote) LaMorder, 82, wife of Harold B. LaMorder of 12 Melrose Terrace, died Sunday morning at Linden Lodge. She had entered the nursing home last July. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery, where burial will take place in the spring. Friends may call at the Fleming Funeral Home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. A parish prayer service will be conducted at tiie funeral home Wednesday at 8:50 p.m.
The daughter of George and Melvina (Gagnon) Charette, she was born at Acton Vale, Que:, June 6, 1891. She had been a resident of Brattleboro since 1923. Her first marriage was to Halaire Cote. He died in 1941. She is survived by her husband, to whom she was married July 4, 1953; three sons, Oneal Cote of Vernon, Sylvio Cote of Groton, Conn., and Conrad Cote of New Britain, Conn.; a daughter, Mrs. Alice Audette of Nabnasset, Mass.; two brothers, Edmund Charette of Leeds, Mass., and Edward Charette of South Hadley Falls, Mass.; a sister, Mrs. Cordelia Vigneau of Springfield, Mass.; 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
