Billy Claude Barker, age 89, passed away on August 20, 2022 in Dallas, TX. He was born July 5, 1933 in Celeste, TX to Claud and Lillie Barker. Billy grew up on the family farm with nine brothers and sisters. He married the love of his life, Zena Marie Brinkley, in Greenville, TX on January 29, 1953. They spent 60 years together and raised three children. During their life, the entire family were all avid horse lovers. They spent many years buying, training, and selling horses. Billy was an exceptional salesman and had many route sales jobs until becoming a Territory Manager for Blue Bell Creameries. After retiring, he relocated to Forney, TX and enjoyed fixing old tractors, gardening, and baling hay. Preceded in death by wife, Zena Marie Barker, parents, Claud and Lillie Barker, and son, Billy Clyde Barker.
Survived by children, Chris and Jana Barker, Debbie and Greg Schultz. Grandchildren, Dwight Barker, Candace Schultz, Marisa Barker, and Ashley Muruato. Great Grandchildren, David Barker, Nahayven Schultz, Remington Schultz, Chance Barker, Makayla Dickerson, and Keaton Dickerson, Adreyan Reyna, Khloe Muruato. Great Great Grandchildren, Ty Barker, Kyronn Dickerson, Jada Dugger, and Adonis Reyna. Siblings, Sara and Mike Pierce, Joy Robinson, Michael and Linda Barker, Sandy and David Roberts, Susan and Jack Haley, Geraldine Zimmerman, Joyce Barker, Debbie Barker, Larry Jenkins, Mackey Jenkins and many other nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
