Harold Jackson, age 88, of Pounding Mill, Virginia, passed away in the early hours of the morning, on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at his home in Pounding Mill, VA.
Harold was born on April 29, 1934, in Jewell Ridge, VA and was the son of the late Luther Jackson and Lena Cooper Jackson. He was a lifelong resident of the area, and he was a former Coal Operator and Truck Driver
In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Delaina Annette Jackson; his sister, Edna Wender; and his brother, Jake Jackson.

A Committal service will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery, in Richlands, Virginia. Friends may call from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at the funeral home prior to the service, on Monday. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Those attending the committal are asked to arrive at the funeral home and be placed in procession by 10:30 am Tuesday.
