Harold was born on April 29, 1934, in Jewell Ridge, VA and was the son of the late Luther Jackson and Lena Cooper Jackson. He was a lifelong resident of the area, and he was a former Coal Operator and Truck Driver
In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Delaina Annette Jackson; his sister, Edna Wender; and his brother, Jake Jackson.

Funeral services for Harold Jackson will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022, at 7:00 pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev Jim Richardson officiating. A Committal service will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery, in Richlands, Virginia. Friends may call from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at the funeral home prior to the service, on Monday. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Those attending the committal are asked to arrive at the funeral home and be placed in procession by 10:30 am Tuesday.
