88, formerly of Canastota, passed away peacefully Wednesday at the Lutheran Home in Clinton. Anna Mae was born in the Town of Fenner and was raised on the Ridge Rd. in Cazenovia, graduating from Cazenovia High School in 1939. She had been a resident of Canastota since 1953. She and her late husband, Benjamin were founders and partners of the Casolwood Golf Course from 1973 to 1986. She was a member of the Canastota United Methodist Church, the Bostonian Home Bureau and she was an avid golfer and member of several leagues at Casolwood. She was predeceased by her husband, Benjamin P. in 1992 and by a daughter, Patricia Casolare in 1949. Surviving are a son, Peter (Wanda) Casolare; two daughters, Linda L. (Dale) Bacon and Judith R. Clarke all of Canastota; grandchildren, Lori Worth (Kim), Lisa (Allan) Snyder, David (Nancy) Bacon, Keith (Karen) Casolare, Stephanie (Joe) Varano, Erin (Jay) Brissenden; great-grandchildren, Aimee, Maia, Melissa, Megan, Kaleigh, Keith, Kendra, Kenjrick, Kaidyn, Emily, Logan, Lindsey; and a great-great-granddaughter, Giavanna. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the G.F. Zimmer Funeral Home, 702 Legion Drive, Chittenan
