James Arthur Dickson, age 48, resident of Chelan Valley continuously for the past 17 years, died at Chelan Saturday, Dec. 12 at 6:30 am after a short illness of two days.
Funeral services were held at the Chelan cemetery Sunday afternoon at 3:30 the Rev. J. A. Longston officiating.
The deceased was born in the state of Indiana August 5, 1877. After living in the states of Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana, respectively, he came to Chelan in 1908. He has resided in Union Valley continuously since that time.
In 1913 he was united in marriage to Mrs. Martha E. Wilsey. To this union five sons were born, two of which, Arthur and Frank, died in infancy.
He leaves a wife and three small sons, Bert Lee, Edwin James and Roy Allen, to mourn the passing of a loving husband and father.
