The victim of a heart attack will be buried following services at Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services for John C Baas, 33, an assistant janitor at Roosevelt School will be held at First Presbyterian Church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with interment following in the family plot at Greenridge Cemetery.
The body was removed to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adriaan C Baas, 6100 32nd Ave, where it will remain until funeral services.
Baas is survived by his bride of eight months the former Mildred Marcoe, by his father and mother, and by six brothers and one sister; Corneilius, Leonard, Clarence, Abraham, Edward, and Donald Baas, all of Kenosha and Mrs. Joseph Fojtik, of Racine.
He was born in the Netherlands, July 26, 1902, and came to Kenosha with his parents at the age of seven years. He received his education at the schools here. For several years, he engaged in the building business here and for the past six years, had been employed at the Roosevelt school.
The body will be removed to the home of his parents from the Hansen Funeral Home Friday afternoon.
