Wife of Clarence E. Chapman whom she married November 11, 1882 and daughter of Devolson (1843-1918) and Margaret Sophia Wilson Reed (1843-1935).

Mrs. Grace Boothe Succumbs at 82-Salamanca Republican Press-March 17, 1947

Mrs. Grace Boothe, eighty-two, wife of Clarence Boothe, died Sunday at 11:13 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alfred Chapman, in Franklinville. She formerly had lived in Ellicottville.

Mrs. Boothe was born in Greigsville, N.Y., September 27, 1864, and had been a resident of Ellicottville thirty-six years. She had moved to Franklinville last November.

Surviving are her husband, Clarence Boothe, Franklinville; three daughters. Mrs. Alfred Chapman of Franklinville, Mrs. Herman Winsor and Mrs. Jams Signore, both of Ellicottville, two sons, Clair of Ellicottville, and Earl of Hilton; a brother, Frank Reed of Great Valley, twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

The body was removed to the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Signore, 43 Jefferson Street, Ellicottville. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Signore home and at the Elon Evangelical Church at 1:30 o'clock. Rev. C.W. Lembke, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in the family plot in Rural Cemetery at Little Valley.
