KINGS MOUNTAIN — Mrs. Essie Mcinnes, 70, of 406 Baker St., died Thursday morning in a local hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Mack Mclnnes; three sons, Walter Martin, Marcus Martin, and Bobby G. Martin, all of Kings Mountain; four daughters, Mrs. Louise Allen and Mrs. Elizabeth Jackson, both of Kings Mountain, Mrs. Estelle Manning, Gastonia, and Mrs. Lucille Milliken, Freeland, N.C.; one brother, Donald Batchelor, Kings Creek, S. C.; six sisters, Miss Maude Mintz, Gaffney, S. C., Mrs. Edith Wode, Blackville, S.C.; Mrs. Clora Martin, Mrs. Era Humphries, Mrs. Mable Bolin, and Miss Evelyn Batchelor, all of Smyrna, S.C.; 30 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dawson Batchelor.
Funeral services will be at 9 p.m. Sunday at the Interdenominational Holiness Church, conducted by the Rev. Odes Webb. Burial will follow in the Canaan Church Cemetery, Kings Creek, S. C.
The body will be taken to the home at 10 a.m. Saturday.
