Lonnie D. England, 66, of York, SC passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022, surrounded by family at his home.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Bratton Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Lake Wylie Christian Assembly in Lake Wylie, SC with Reverend Lewis Gunn and Reverend Clarence Gammill officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, York, SC.
Lonnie was born on August 8, 1956, in Sparta, Tn. He was the son of the late Omega England and Mabel Kirkpatrick England. He was a member of the Lake Wylie Christian Assembly in Lake Wylie, SC.
Lonnie is survived by his wife Teresa, son, Montzell England (Lauren), grandchildren: Grayson, Brayla, Karma England and Karma's mother Jennie Stevenson. He is also survived by his siblings Frances England, Linda Hughes (Dennis), Ruth Gammill (Clarence), Peggy Glasscock (Billy) and Dana Drown (Richard).
In addition to his parents, Lonnie was preceded in death by his son Kelavan England and his sister Tammy England.
