Ms. Tammy Michele "Dorothy" England, 56, was called home on Saturday February 1, 2020 at Hartsville Health and Rehab.
Tammy, or Dorothy as she liked to be called, was born May 19, 1963 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Omega and Drue Mable Kirkpatrick England. She was an avid fan of the movie
Wizard of Oz, and she adored Dorothy. She will be remembered for her smile, great humor and loving personality. Dorothy was strong in her faith, often spending several hours a day with her Bible. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a brother Daniel England and nephew Kelavan England.
Surviving family members left to cherish her memory include her sisters Frances England, Linda (Dennis) Hughes, Ruth (Clarence) Gammill, Peggy (Billy) Glasscock,
Dana (Richard) Drown; her Brother: Lonnie (Teresa) England
Four nieces; Five nephews; Several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.
Services will be conducted Tuesday, February 4, 2020 from the Chapel of the Hunter Funeral Home with interment in Taylors Providence Cemetery. Clarence Gammill will officiate and music by her nieces Holly Barnes and Kenya Roberts.
Travis Hughes, Tracy Hughes, John A. Glasscock, Ryan Roberts, Richard Drown and
Gary Barnes will serve as pallbearers.
