George Henry Clements was a son of James and Emma Boggs Clements. He was born in Coleman County, Texas. He married Litha Stalcup about 1915 in Dallas, Texas. Together they had 3 sons: Fred, James and Wesley. In the 1920 census in Dallas, Texas, Litha is living with her parents and so are her children. George Clements is last found in his WWI draft record. What happened to him afterwards is unclear. He must have used an alias name as he is not to be found. Based on his families obituaries, he died sometime before 1962. The children grew up with relatives and all married and raised families. The youngest, Wesley lived with the Simpson family and later legally changed his last name to Simpson. The info about his sons was related to me by a Stalcup family member.
