Almarie was a faithful member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church until her health failed. She loved singing and was a member of the choir. She was the neighborhood mother, as she would babysit the neighborhood children. As she went through her day as a homemaker and raising her ten children, she prided herself on being an important part of raising other children around her. She found joy in telling stories of her childhood and the things she did as a child. Almarie enjoyed spending time with her family and loved spoiling all her grandchildren.
