She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Haden and Minnie Cooper; five brothers and four sisters.
Mrs. Hodges was a member of the Oak Grove Church of the Brethren, and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her loving and faithful husband, Clyde E. Hodges; three sons and daughters-in-law, George and Brenda Hodges, Rocky Mount, Kenny and Debbie Hodges, McDowell, Bruce and Dorenda Hodges, Rocky Mount; grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Christopher and Kristy Hodges, Rocky Mount, Gregory and Angellena Hodges, Callaway, Bradley Hodges, Rocky Mount and Tanner Hodges, McDowell; one great-granddaughter, Adaline Hodges, Callaway; one sister, Mary Cooper, Catawba; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Also surviving are special friends, Daniel and Mildred Webster, and Roger and Brenda Peters.
A very special thank you to Carilion Hospice of Franklin County, specially to Linda Delvin, and Kitty Ruby and Mary Brubaker of Home Health Services.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 1999 with the Rev. Curtis English and the Rev. Joe Dillon officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials be made to Carilion Hospice of Franklin County, 180 Floyd Ave., Rocky Mount, Va. or the American Cancer Society, PO Box 554, Roanoke, Va. . Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday with the family receiving friends from 6 to 9 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, South Main St., Rocky Mount.
