HARES-PENDLEY, Gladys L.
age 100, passed away January 22, 2008, in Lancaster. She was born January 2, 1908, in Kidder, South Dakota and has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1953. She was a longtime member of the Lancaster United Methodist Church and Lancaster Women of the Moose. Gladys is survived by one daughter and two sons, Verna and her husband Herman Wood, James and his wife Linda Hares, and Gary Hares, one sister, Maxine Gurwell, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son Harold Hares, first husband Sidney Hares and second husband Marcus Pendley. A Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2008, with a Visitation staring at 11a.m., at Halley- Olsen-Murphy, Lancaster Chapel. Interment will follow at Joshua Memorial Park.
