Bobbie Lou Manis
Kingsport - Bobbie Lou Manis, 74, 730 Stroupe Road, Apt. 206, went to be with the Lord Wednesday evening (Aug. 27, 2003) at her residence following a lengthy illness.
She was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County. She was an avid reader and loved her cats. She enjoyed quilting. Mrs. Manis loved her family and friends so much. Everybody knew her as Maw.
She attended Smyrna Baptist Church (Surgoinsville).
Bobbie Lou Manis was preceded in death by her husband, Madison H. Manis (June 18, 2003); her parents, John L. and Opal Spitzer; brothers, Ralph Spitzer and David Spitzer; and brother-in-law, Earl Skelton.
