Funeral services for Mrs. E. O. Blankenship, who passed away September 15 at Wenatchee, were held at the Methodist church in Chelan, Saturday afternoon September 18th, Rev. Frank Beatty of the Presbyterian church of Wenatchee, officiating.
There was an abundance of floral offerings. The church was beautifully decorated with many flowers. A large number of friends from over the entire Chelan Valley were present to pay their last respects to their beloved friend and neighbor. Following the beautiful services, the body was interred in the Chelan Cemetery.
The life history of the deceased as related by Rev. Beatty stated that Mrs. Blankenship was a native of Indiana, and had been a life-long member of the Presbyterian Church.

Mother was Anna Dickson Anderson sister of James William Dickson.
