Billy Dean Wishert, 70, of Corpus Christi passed away July 30, 2022. Billy was born in Corpus Christi on December 10, 1951 to Calvin and Lucille Wishert. He graduated from WB Ray High School in 1971.
Billy worked for the Reynolds Metals Company, later named Sherwin Alumina Company, for over 30 years. Later he was employed by the City of Corpus Christi at the International Airport from which he retired in 2016.
Billy is survived by his wife Charlotte "Chuck" Lewis-Wishert whom he married November 25, 1989. He is also survived by his son Richard Wishert ( Alecia) and daughter Michelle Wishert. Billy has three surviving siblings: Leon Wishert, Kathy Nelson and Larry Wishert.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 12:30 PM with Celebration of Life Services beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 3:15 PM.
